Supporting Every Student's Pathway Forward
Every student has a different path — and every path deserves support. I'm committed to making sure Ward 3 & 4 students are motivated, guided, and equipped to explore what's next for them, whatever direction they choose.
Future-Ready Programs & Pathways
Not every student's future runs through university — and our schools shouldn't act like it does. I'll advocate for a broad range of future pathways, including university, college, apprenticeships, direct employment, and entrepreneurship, so students see real options and real routes to get there.
Experiential Learning
Students learn best by doing. I'll push for more hands-on, real-world learning opportunities — such as Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) and co-op placements — that let students test out career interests before they graduate, build practical skills, and connect classroom learning to life beyond it.
Community Involvement
Strong students grow out of strong community connections. I'll support programs that get students engaged beyond the classroom — volunteering, mentorship, and local partnerships that build character and connected to their community.
Extracurricular Activities
Sports, arts, clubs, and leadership programs are an important part of school life. They help students build friendships, confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. I’ll support strong and accessible extracurricular opportunities so more students can participate.

Backing the People Who Deliver Every Day
Every strong outcome in Ward 3 & 4 traces back to educators — teachers, staff, and school leaders doing the work every day. My role is to encourage and advocate for them, and to support the programs that let them do that work well.
Future-Ready Programs
Educators deliver co-op, career pathways, skilled trades, and other future-focused programs. I’ll advocate for the resources, training, and flexibility they need to keep these programs strong and relevant.
Experiential Learning
Hands-on learning gives students valuable real-world experience, but it also requires extra planning and coordination. I’ll advocate for the support educators need to provide more of these opportunities.
Community Partnerships
Educators often help connect students with local organizations, businesses, and community partners. I’ll support efforts that make these partnerships easier to build and maintain.
Extracurricular Activities
Coaches, club leaders, and activity supervisors give students opportunities beyond the classroom, often contributing significant time and effort. I’ll advocate for better support and recognition of this important work.
Connecting Schools and Communities
I’ll encourage more opportunities for educators to work with families, community groups, and local organizations — and support policies that make these connections easier.

Partners in Every Step of Learning
Families play an important role in every child’s success. I believe schools should make it easier for parents and guardians to stay informed, involved, and connected. I’ll help families understand the resources available and serve as a link between families and the school system.
Be Part of Your Child’s Learning
Parents should have a clear understanding of what their child is learning and how they are progressing. I’ll support better ways for families to stay involved beyond report cards and parent-teacher interviews.
Stay Connected with Teachers and Schools
Good communication helps solve problems early. I’ll support clear and accessible communication between families, teachers, schools, and the board so questions and concerns can be addressed more easily.
Explore Future Pathways Together
Choosing a future pathway shouldn't be a decision families make alone. I'll support opportunities for parents and learners to explore pathway options together — academic, trades, career, and beyond
Support Learning Beyond the Classroom
Learning doesn't stop at the school bell. I'll advocate for resources and programs that help families support their child's learning at home and in the community.
Support the Whole Child
Student success is about more than academics. Mental, social, and physical well-being all matter. I’ll support programs and resources that help students grow, stay healthy, and feel supported.
